Making a Positive Impact in the Community

At Graham & Rosen, we are proud to support charitable causes across Yorkshire and the Humber by administering two grant-giving trusts.

Joseph Boaz Charitable Trust

The Joseph Boaz Charitable Trust was set up under the Will of Joseph Keatley Boaz, who died in November 1990. Grants are awarded twice a year, and each successful applicant typically receives between £250 and £500.

  • Who we support: We fund registered charities and community groups that work in Hull & East Yorkshire.

  • Areas of focus: We consider applications for any charitable purpose that benefits the community.

  • Application deadlines: Trustees typically meet in June and December to review applications.

Marshall & Viggars Charitable Trust

The Marshall and Viggars Charitable Trust was established through the Will of Mrs. Marjorie Viggars, who passed away in 2003. In 2017, the executors of Mrs. Eileen Lucy Marshall’s estate donated her entire residuary estate to the trust. To honour this, the trust’s name was updated. It provides grants of £250 to £750 for projects supporting health, welfare, and the care of people and animals.

  • Who we support: We award grants to individuals and organisations operating in Yorkshire and the Humber.

  • Areas of Focus: This charity only awards to projects that involve human, physical or mental disability, medical care, relief and welfare, medical research, or care, relief or protection of animals.

  • Application deadlines: Trustees typically meet in February and August to review applications.
